Is a man’s redemption a woman’s gift? Come hear Peter Jeffery and Roger Sabot share their perspective, as we continue on with February’s theme of LOVE.  Join us this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. as we celebrate Love through song, messages, and prayer/meditation.

Musically, we welcome back this Sunday the beautiful vocal harmonies of The Three Little Birds as they lead us in song and special music.  In other music news:  there will be a short meeting after service for those interested in re-starting the choir, following the great experience at Christmas! All are welcome; all that's needed is a love of singing, a willingness to stretch and grow and to commit to showing up on time for rehearsals.

There are still a few spots left to join the Sunday session of the prosperity class which begins this Sunday, in room 6 from 1-3 p.m.  Please see the news below for more details.

PLEASE JOIN US: SATURDAY FEBRUARY 18 - " From Me To We: Equipping Unity Ottawa's Future".  Become a part of mapping out the thriving future of Unity Ottawa in this all-day workshop-format gathering and fellowship opportunity.   Learn how thriving spiritual communities reflect the gifts of individuals within those communities and how, as individuals, we can exponentially accelerate our spiritual growth through many ways of expressing these gifts.  This will be a fun, interactive, and informative day.   Snacks and lunch will be served.  Starts at 9:30 am. and finishes at 4:00 p.m.  Location:  312 Parkdale, in the sanctuary.  

There are still a few spots left in the Sunday session of the prosperity class which begins this week!  Based on the book "Spiritual Economics:  The Principles and Process of True Prosperity" by Eric Butterworth, this interactive class will explore how to work with the flow of life, reverse financial adversity, and attract wealth in every area of your life:  finances, health, work, and relationships.    Much like the recent Prayer class, two sessions will be offered: (i)  Wednesdays, starting February 8 until March 7 from 1-3 p.m. (at Roxanne Buckle's home); and (ii)  Sundays, February 12 to March 11 from 1-3 p.m. (at 312 Parkdale). This class is a commitment class which means that it requires signing up, attending the classes,  and purchasing a book. This is not a drop in class as each class builds off of the last.  The books will be available in late-January and are $15 each.   Love offering basis:  suggested $15/session ($10/session for students/underemployed).  If you are interested in attending the class, please email the office with your name, phone number, and which session you would like to attend.    There will also be sign-up sheets at church on Sunday.

By popular demand, another UNITY ORIENTATION CLASS will be held Saturday February 25 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.  Taught by Ministry Coordinator Roxanne Buckle, this interactive class is an excellent opportunity to learn about, or brush up on, the basic Unity principles.  We will talk about the history of Unity, it's founders, and how Unity operates today both locally and globally.  You can learn about what opportunities are available for you to be of service using your gifts and talents.  If you wish to become a member of Unity Ottawa, this class is a requirement.  However, attendance at this class does not require that you become a member.    Becoming a Unity member allows you to have a vote on the running of Unity of Ottawa (which is a charitable organization governed by a Board of Directors).  Membership is also a requirement for being a Board member.

Next Reike/Energy Exchange Circle - is Sunday March 4 -  from 9:30-10:20AM, in room 7.  Are you a Reike practitioner, healer/ intuitive?  Or would you like to receive healing energy?  You are invited to come participate in a healing circle where you are welcome to give or receive healing energy.  Special focus will be given to developing our inner balance and harmony.  Sessions are guided by Unity member and interfaith minister Paula Forget.   For more information contact Paula at paula.forget@juno.com.  Respecting the sacredness of the circle, latecomers will not be admitted once the doors are closed. 

Remember to send in pictures of your children, grandchildren, or any child who's special to you.  The picture will be projected during the children & youth blessing.

MEDITATIONS FOR EVERYDAY LIVING CONTINUE EVERY TUESDAY EVENING AT 6:30 P.M.
